How Hatchik is different.

There are plenty of good ways to put an app online. Most are built for developers, and most will happily let you break the thing your customers are using. Hatchik is built for everyone else, on the principle that you should not be able to.

You keep your own AI.

Hatchik has no AI and no builder of its own. You carry on in the chat you already have open, with the AI you already pay for, and Hatchik makes what it builds real: a live site, a database, your own web address. Nothing new to learn and no complicated list of services to sign up for.

Make changes without regrets.

Every change goes to a locked draft first, so you see it before anyone else does, and publishing puts live exactly what you looked at. If something is wrong afterwards, say “undo” and your pages and your customers’ records go back together — up to ten versions.

Your database has no address on the internet, and everything is copied every night to a second provider in another country, encrypted. The technical details set out exactly what undo covers and what it does not.

You own what you build.

• Your code, your content, your customers’ data and anything your AI wrote for you — yours, on the free plan too.
• Hatchik does not train on it, license it, sell it, or use it as a showcase.
• You can download the lot at any time, without asking, and run it somewhere else.
• If Hatchik is ever sold, your work is not part of what is sold.

The other half of that: because it is your app, you are responsible for what is in it, and you agree not to use Hatchik for malware, phishing, spam or anything illegal. Hatchik is a host and nobody here reads your code or your database. The full wording is in the terms, and if your app holds personal data about your own customers, the data processing agreement covers that automatically.

Getting help.

When something breaks, you ask Claude — the same chat, at three in the morning if that is when it happens. It reads your app’s own record of what went wrong, publishes the fix, and puts things back. No ticket, no queue, no waiting for an answer from an app builder.
