My site is broken

Start here when the site is up but wrong, or was fine and is not any more. If a publish came back with an error, read "Publishing failed" instead.

Say what you see

Tell Claude what is wrong in your own words and, if you can, what you did to see it. "The contact form says error when I press send." "The prices are showing as zero." "Nothing loads at all, the page is blank." You do not need to know why.

Claude can read your site's recent logs, look at the code it published, change it and publish the fix. That is the fastest route in almost every case.

When you say something is wrong, Claude checks your project — and part of that check is loading your live site's front page itself, so it sees what a visitor sees rather than only whether the site is switched on. It stops at the front page, though. To have it walk the rest of the site — every page, every link, every form — ask it to check your app properly. That takes a few seconds and changes nothing.

The three shapes this takes

It looks wrong or a feature does not work. The app is running fine; the code is wrong. This is the most common kind and it is ordinary work for Claude. Ask for the fix.

It worked before your last change. Say "undo that". The previous version comes back, including your data. Read "Going back" for what else that moves.

Nothing loads at all. The app has crashed or is restarting in a loop. Ask Claude for the recent logs. The last error before the crash is nearly always the answer — a missing environment variable, a database migration that fails at startup, a bad import.

Checking it yourself

Sign in at https://app.hatchik.com and open the project. The overview shows whether the live site is running, and there is a logs view with the last lines your app printed. You do not have to understand them: copy them into Claude and say "this is what my site is printing".

When it is not your app

Some things are not the code:

Hatchik's own status

https://status.hatchik.com says whether Hatchik itself is having a problem. Check it if several projects are down at once.
