Locked out
You cannot sign in to Hatchik. Read this page — it is public precisely so that somebody who cannot sign in can still read it.
First, the reassuring part: your site is unaffected. It is still online, still serving your customers, still on your own web address. Being locked out of the dashboard does not take anything down.
Which problem is it
Claude says the Hatchik connection has expired. That is not a lockout. Remove the Hatchik connector in Claude's settings and add it again — the three steps are on the "Connecting Claude" page.
You are signed in as the wrong person. Hatchik signs you in with Google. If your browser is signed into a different Google account than the one your projects are under, you will see an empty dashboard rather than an error. Sign out at https://app.hatchik.com/logout, then sign in again and pick the right Google account.
Your Google account is gone. Deleted, or it belonged to an employer, or you cannot get into it. This is the real lockout, and there is a way through it.
Getting back in
Go to https://app.hatchik.com/account/recover and enter the email address your Hatchik account uses. If it matches an account, you get an email with a link. The page says the same thing either way, so that nobody can use it to find out whether an address has an account.
The link works once and expires after an hour. Opening it gives you a limited session that can do three things:
- Attach a different Google account. Same account, same projects, same billing, a new way in. You sign in with the new Google account and the old one is dropped.
- Download everything. Your files, your database and your settings, as one file — whether or not you ever get the account back.
- Cancel billing. Stops the charges immediately.
That session deliberately cannot do anything else. It cannot delete a project, publish a change, or touch your domains, because proving you can read an email address is weaker proof than signing in.
If you no longer have access to the email address either, there is nothing Hatchik can do. There is no identity check, no human review and no exception — control of the account is control of the email address, and there is no way for anyone to verify a claim beyond that. This is worth knowing before it matters: if the email address on your account is one you might lose, move the account to one you will not while you can still sign in.
While you wait
Nothing needs your attention. Your site keeps running and your renewals keep happening. If a payment fails while you are locked out, the project pauses rather than being deleted, and your data is held for 21 days — read "Paying for Hatchik" for exactly what happens and when.
